This does look nice and I like this item but if you plan on using fluorescent bulbs, you might want to rethink. Although you don't see the bulbs through the glass shades, if you use 100 watt equivalent bulbs, you might see the bottom. The depth of these shades extend 3 1/2 inches from the base of the socket. Another thing to consider is this thing is heavy. The glass shades weigh 1 lb 10 oz for a total weight of 3 lb 4 oz. I had the electrician put in a heavy mount for this.Finally, I ordered this twice. The first item that arrived I inspected it right away because the box was resealed. Apparently Amazon (Amazon.com LLC) just reshipped something someone had already shipped back to Amazon. Of course there was something wrong with it: a small chip in one of the shades. The second one arrived unopened and the shades were fine however after the electrician installed it, I noticed one of the lights is bent. The only way this could happen is that it was manufactured that way because this thing is solid as a rock!I just re-read all recent reviews on this item and apparently this bent or crooked thing is common on this item!!Beautiful lights. We got it in chrome to match our other chrome fixtures but goes nicely with of bead board and the rustic/relaxed vibe we have in other rooms. It was challenging to find that style in chrome, but this fit the bill nicely. However, the chrome was more expensive than other finishes.We purchased this “refurbished” from VIPOUTLETS at a reduced price. However, the item was defective with a broken wire. Luckily my husband is handy but that issue, combined with very heavy lamps, made installation a total pain. (The seller responded to my concern and did offer a full refund, so I edited my review to 4 stars.)The venetian bronze finish is different from photos. It has brushmarks to give it a rusted look and is a dull matte. Evidently they changed the finish. Very disappointed. I have been looking for a long time and loved the glass globes.Light looks just as expected, and is build well. Easy to install. However as mentioned on other reviews the screw studs that come with are not long enough (just barely), and the decorative screw caps do start to rust quite fast. Really the screw thing is easily solvable and the rust is in such a small spot, neither are a big deal, especially for the price. I would say that this light was well worth its price, it is a good value.It gives great light, in fact I lowered the wattage. Feels well made.Absolutely love this light fixture! Yes, we installed it upside down versus moving the electrical box so the glass shades would clear our medicine cabinet door. We actually like it better like this. And it’s a very well made fixture with a nice modern flair.Real deal - arrived on time in perfect condition. Product is exactly as shown - works and looks great!Mounting tip - After you install mounting plate to wall, take the two bolts with the decorative heads which will attach the fixture to the mounting plate, and unscrew the decorative head of the bolt. Then screw in the bolts to the proper holes on the mounting plate. They will now extend into and through the fixture itself, aligning it as you mount it, and all you need to do is screw the decorative bolt heads back on to secure the fixture to the mounting plate.We love the Archie collection! We have the larger 4 light set upstairs in our main bathroom and one of the large pendants over the sink in our kitchen. When it came time to renovate our downstairs bath we knew this collection would work for us. We purchased the 2 light set for over the medicine cabinet and one flush mounted overhead light for the general room. We love the texture on the shades and the brushed nickel finish.These lights are just quality. We love them.Like the many other Progress light fixtures I have bought in the past, this model is exceptional. A quality product with great style. As as bonus it is much less expensive to purchase from Amazon than from any local lighting retailer. A word of advice, if you intend to complete the “look” with a pair of vintage style clear LED bulbs, choose ones with the traditional shape. In my opinion, the oblong Edison style are too long for the glass shades.I put this light in a powder room, and the style works perfectly. I put LED bulbs in it, so it is super bright! I actually had to put it on a dimmer switch.Doing two bathroom renos and decided to see how these would fit. I bought them for the small bathroom and LOVED them. Will buy two more for the large bathroom. Quality and looks like a really expensive light fixture!Great product. Well made and easy to install despite the instructions lacking step by step installation. A few extra minutes studying the diagram was required. I went on to purchase the matching single light fixture and flush mount fixture.Very nice looking light works well so far
