Provides lift & support. Material smooth & non snagging on inside & outside of bra. I usually wear a 36DD. The 38D fits great on its tightest setting. I would likely buy the 36DD next time for this reason. I also bought a cheaper Vanity Fair wireless bra & it fits much smaller & is not the quality of this bra. This bra is worth the 20$, its constructed better, has excellent straps & seems like it will hold up very well. It is smoothly lined inside. The only flaw - the lightly molded cups seems to make my breasts point out to the side. It seemed weird at first, but the bra molded perfectly to my body and looks great under clothes. No one would think this was wireless. Do yourself a favor & buy 2 so you have one to wear while the other is being laundered. Be prepared to never wear an underwire again!
