The globes have minimal screw in rotation and can unscrew and fall out easily if disturbed or subjected to minimal vibration. We were using power tool to install 2 screws for shower item and the vibration caused us to loose a globe, and nearly lost 2 others. Suggest using a little invisible tape to insure they do not turn after installation.Stunning contemporary and minimalist look. I like brushed nickel's or steel's subtle shine better than chrome hi-gloss surfaces. Installed horizontally over a bathroom vanity cabinet under remodeling and the resulting look was perfectI missed the window on returning this but wanted too. The globes are far from perfect, not sure if I am being overly picky but either way you try and insert them, they show major imperfections in the glass. Not recommended if you want things to look great
